You need a BLU API key without an IP restriction — see Get a key.

Add BLU

  1. Open plugins

Go to chatgpt.com/plugins, click +, then Add custom MCP server.

  2. Name it

Enter the name BLU and a short description, such as "Read-only access to my agency's data in BLU".

  3. Point it at BLU

Under Connection, set the Server URL:

    Under Authentication, choose OAuth.

  4. Create it

Tick I understand and want to continue, then click Create as a plugin.

  5. Sign in on BLU's page

ChatGPT opens BLU's sign-in page — straight away, so it can read BLU's tools, or the first time it uses BLU. Paste your BLU API key, click Continue, check what ChatGPT will be able to read and click Allow.

  6. Review the tools and install

ChatGPT lists BLU's tools — every one of them only reads. Install the plugin.

Use BLU in a chat

Start a new chat, type @ and pick BLU, then ask your question — for example "Which creators disconnected in the last 7 days?". More ideas are on Example prompts.

Keep the tools up to date

When BLU adds a tool, open the plugin's page in ChatGPT and click Refresh so ChatGPT reads the new list.

Disconnect

To turn off ChatGPT's access to BLU — so it stops reading your BLU data — remove the BLU plugin in ChatGPT. Revoking or rotating the key in BLU disconnects every app that uses it.
